SportsEngine and my Region show that a member is valid but TM2Sign shows differently
SportsEngine is providing 3rd parties such as TM2Sign with data via an API. The data they provide in the API may differ from what shows on the screen when inside of the SportsEngine ecosystem. On numerous occasions we have been told by USA Volleyball Membership Services and SportsEngine that the data provided by the API is the most accurate.
TM2Sign is required to use the information that is provided by USA Volleyball and SportsEngine to determine if rosters are valid for USAV competition.
What can I do to fix this?
First check for and remove any duplicate club members – Duplicate Club Members
Next let’s make sure TM2Sign has the latest information from SportsEngine.
Do a club pull in TM2 – USAV Memberships Import Step-by-Step or find your member and click Synchronize with USAV MMS (SportsEngine)
If you have completed the above steps and are still having issues please contact your region and ask them to assist you. Your region may need to reach out to SportsEngine through their dedicated support channels. Many times SportsEngine can do what they call a ‘forced update’ on the membership record. Once SportsEngine has resolved the issue on their end please do a club pull in TM2 – USAV Memberships Import Step-by-Step or find your member and click Synchronize with USAV MMS (SportsEngine). If the problem persists, the issue is with SportsEngine and must be fixed on their end.
