When you import your USAV teams from SportsEngine they are automatically matched by USAV code to any existing teams you may already have in TM2. This can have unexpected results if you have different age or rank settings between the two systems, since those are both part of the USAV code.

For example let's say you have two 14 girls teams in TM2 ranked like this:
  1. "14 Red" (G14.....1..)
  2. "14 Blue" (G14.....2..)
And you have the same team names in SportsEngine, but ranked differently:
  1. "14 Blue" (G14.....1..)
  2. "14 Red" (G14.....2..)
When you import from SportsEngine to TM2, the team with code "G1.....1.." ends up getting renamed from "14 Red" to "14 Blue" (and vice versa) so that everything lines up. But this can be a problem if you've already registered these teams for events:

  • Where you registered "14 Red" (the previous #1 team) it now says "14 Blue" (the new #1 team)
  • Where you registered "14 Blue" (the previous #2 team) it now says "14 Red" (the current #2 team)
